Fr. John Baptist Pesce, CP with Archbishop Henry Mansell
Last night, Passionist Fr. John Baptist Pesce of Holy Family Monastery in West Hartford, CT, received the “Bishop Joseph Donnelly Memorial Award” for his life-long work in Social Justice. This award was presented to Fr. John by Archbishop Henry Mansell, who called him a man of humility and strength, at the Annual Social Justice Dinner for the Archdiocese of Hartford. Fr. John’s acceptance speech evoked cheers from those gathered and the entire assembly of several hundred people came to a standing ovation at the conclusion of his remarks.
