Like our founder, St. Paul of the Cross, we want to keep alive the memory of the love of Jesus, who was crucified, died and rose again. His message is needed today more than ever in a world searching for meaning, freedom and human dignity.
We minister by means that are old and new–popular preaching, spiritual retreats, parishes, study and research, and the new mass media including television and the internet.
The Passionists have always been a missionary community, reaching out across nations and across the globe to assist in the spread of the Gospel. The Passionists of the United States serve around the world, and we currently sponsor and staff missions in three foreign countries: Haiti, Honduras and Jamaica. In addition, we support men in missionary work in Kenya and the Philippines as well as other missions sponsored by our congregation in Asia and Africa.
