Fr. Chris was born in New Rochelle, NY and grew up in Bristol CT. He is the youngest of three boys. After finishing high school in Bristol Fr. Chris went to Chester PA to acquire a BS in nursing from Widener College in 1978. While working a time in cardiac intensive care, Fr. Chris received an offer he could not refuse.This offer was to look into becoming a Passionist. Profession as a Passionist followed in August of 1982. With further study at Catholic Theological Union in Chicago Fr. Chris was ordained as a priest in 1986. After ordination he was assigned to Saint Paul of the Cross Retreat House in Pittsburgh PA. In twenty-29 years of professed life and twenty-five years of ordination the time has been filled with retreat work, spiritual direction training, from Creighton University in Omaha NE, formation training from the Institute of Religious Formation at Catholic Theological Union, and fourteen years working with teenagers at Saint Gabriel Spiritual Center for Youth in Shelter Island NY.
Fr. Chris is excited to be reunited with the ABC-Ministry team who he will work with giving youth programs as he did out on Shelter Island and will be on the Preaching Band of the Passionist Community.
