Fr. Paul Zilonka, CP, is a native of Baltimore, Maryland, and a Passionist since 1957.For the past four decades, Fr. Zilonka’s biblical-pastoral ministry had included seminary teaching, leading bible study in parishes and many biblical retreats for laity, religious and clergy both in the USA and abroad.
He holds several post-graduate degrees from the Pontifical Biblical Institute (SSL) and the Gregorian University in Rome (STD).
Fr. Zilonka has taught in Boston, New York, Jamaica in the West Indies, and at St. Mary’s Seminary and University at Roland Park in Baltimore. He recently served as Formation Director for Passionist theological students at The Catholic Theological Union in Chicago.
During the same period, he was a hospital chaplain at Palos Community Hospital in Palos Heights, IL. Currently, he also serves on the Council of Consultors to the Provincial. In the spirit of the charism of the Passionist Community, Fr. Zilonka’s preaching ministry gives particular attention to the spiritual journey we all share in God’s provident love.
