It you’re not in Rome for the Feast of Saints Peter and Paul, you can still tour the magnificent churches that bear their names.
These videos are from a DVD narrated by Passionist Father Victor Hoagland, called Pilgrim Churches of Rome. You can learn more about this video and purchase it on Crossplace, our on-line book store.

The computer I am using right now is a borrowed one, does not have access to watching this video. I know I would have loved every bit of the tour. But here is a story that is just as great and beautiful about our two great saints. My Parish – St. Thomas More – was awaiting judgement on a disputed land case. Judgement was scheduled to be given on the Feast of Ss. John Fisher and Thomas More by shear coinsidence. On day slated for judgement to given, the judge adjourned the date to a week later. It happened to be the Feast of Ss.Peter and Paul. Our Parish priest asked us not to give up hope of judgement being given in our favor. We had previously held a “Siege of Rosary recitals” around the land. So this time round he said to us on the Sunday before the Wednesday of the judgement, “By coinsidence judgement would have been given on the Feaso of St. Thomas More, but he has craftily passed it on to the day of the two great saints, greater and more powerful than himself. Do not be afraid we shall continue to hope. On Wednesday the whole Thomas More Church errupted in great cheer when judgement was truly and finally passed in our favor. On the Feast of Ss. Peter and Paul.
