1880s
In the 1880s United States Passionists were assigned to minister to immigrants in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
1922
In 1922 Father Viktor Koch, C.P. (seated) was assigned to minister to German and Austrian Catholics. With Fr. Paul Böhminghaus, C.P. (standing), they survived the Nazi era at the Passionist monastery in Schwarzenfeld, Germany.
1958
In 1958 American Passionists arrived in the Philippines. Photo below was taken some time in the middle 1980’s at Holy Cross Spiritual Center, Calumpang, General Santos City, after an annual retreat.
1955
Passionists were assigned to Jamaica, West Indies in 1955, celebrate in 2015 and continue to serve.
2007
Passionists were first assigned to Canada in 1933. Fathers Steve Dunn, C.P., Pierre Myrand, C.P., Paul Cusack, C.P. directed the ministries in the 1960s. In 2007 eco-friendly St. Gabriel’s Parish, Toronto was built and Passionists continue to serve there.
